Test your skill with random materials!

Iron Fly is a tying competition where competitors will be given a gag of unknown tying materials as well as 3 hooks of various sizes (20-4/0). There is a supply of community materials at each table. Each competitor will be given 90 minutes to tie their 3 flies. Flies will be judged by the guest demo tiers. Judging and demos by: Casey Prather, Marty Staab and Dick Shinton.

• Doors open at 3:00

• Guest tiers and demos from 3:00 - 4:45

• Competition from 5:00 - 6:30

• Awards at 6:45

Prizes:

• 1st Place: Two days of guided fly fishing in Cape Cod for false albacore and stiped bass (airfare, lodging, transportation and food not included), TFO Blitz 8wt rod and reel.

• 2nd Place: Half day guided trip on Poudre or Big Thompson Rivers, TFO LK Legacy 5wt rod and reel

• 3rd Place: TFO LK Legacy 5wt rod and reel

Silent Auction:

• One year membership and dues to Rocky Mountain Angling Club

• Signed and numbered Derek DeYoung "Trout Confetti 8" print

Big Thompson Brewery will also be allowing PRVFF to take over 2 of their tap handles for the evening and $1.00 from each pint sold will benefit the cause.
